Miami Home Show’s Celebrity Design Projects are Underway!

Miami, FL…July 18, 2018… Four South Florida Interior Designers will design room vignettes for local TV News Journalists and reveal their creations to the respective celebrity “client” at the Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show. The Miami Home Show will take place, Labor Day Weekend, from Friday, August 31st to Monday, September 3rd (Labor Day) at a NEW LOCATION, Mana Wynwood Convention Center, 318 NW 23rd St, Miami, 33127.

The Home Show’s “Designer Rooms for the Stars” is a popular annual tradition that begins with the selection of the featured Interior Designers by way of submission process; matching each designer with a TV news personality; and executing the project initiated with just one meeting between the Interior Designer and “client.” Some design hints will be posted on the Home Show’s social media, but the final design is revealed to the celebrity and show-goers during the Home Show.

“Living with Art” and Live Painting with “Trading Spaces Star” John Gidding

Gidding will also paint an original work of art during the first day (before and between presentations) which will be raffled off to an audience member at his final presentation.

The move marks a return for the Show to the City of Miami, where it was held for more than 30 years in the Coconut Grove Convention Center before it was demolished. The Miami Home Show will take place, Labor Day Weekend, from Friday, August 31st to Monday, September 3rd (Labor Day) at Mana Wynwood Convention Center, 318 NW 23rd St, Miami, 33127.

Fort Lauderdale Home Show Adds Award-Winning Designer and Spanish TV Décor Expert to Roster!

Fort Lauderdale, FL…May 15, 2018… The Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show adds award-winning Interior Designer, Perla Lichi of Perla Lichi Design to its roster of featured Interior Designers. Spanish TV and radio lifestyle expert and designer, Julia Alzate of Julia Alzate Design and Tips will also reveal a room vignette at the Fort Lauderdale Home Show. The two other featured designers are Home Show veterans: Francy Arria of Max Space Design and Décor, and Roberta Black of RB Design.

Featured Interior Designers are selected through a submission process and are asked to create a model room that gives homeowners ideas and inspiration. They remain at their vignette all weekend to answer design and décor questions. An Intimate Lunch with award-winning winemaker, Robert Foley | Highlights and Photos

On Thursday, March 8th, Wynwood Oven and Angels’ Share Wines South hosted a private lunch with Robert “Bob” Foley of Robert Foley Vineyards, who made an exclusive appearance in South Florida.

The event was an intimate opportunity to taste and learn more about Bob’s award-winning wines. Guests included general managers and Sommeliers from prominent South Florida restaurants, food and wine social media influencers, and Emmy Award-winning TV and Radio news journalist, Javier Ceriani. They were delighted by Foley’s jovial nature and personal insights about himself, his wife and business manager Kelly Kehoe, and the making of each wine produced on the summit of Napa Valley’s Howell Mountain, where more than 1,000 barrels are housed in an extensive cave system.

Bob has been named, “Winemaker of the Year” by Food and Wine Magazine and the “God of Cabernet” by Wine Executive Seminars. Wine Spectator’s Jim Laube describes Robert Foley wines as, “Dark, rich and massive with gobs of flavor” and “Virtually Perfect — 99 points” by Robert Parker Jr., The Wine Advocate.”

Highlights of the MASI Amarone Dinner at Wynwood Oven

On Tuesday, January 16th, Wynwood Oven in collaboration with Wine by the Bay, held its first wine pairing dinner of the New Year: a wine pairing dinner featuring a five-course menu alongside a tasting of the single vineyards from Masi Amarone.

Mauro Maugliani, Italian Brand Specialist, Southeast United States, Kobrand Corporation guided guests through an epicurean adventure with personal insights to the history and craftsmanship of each wine presented including:
